Hej! We started Sightseeing Ride because we felt that something was missing in Stockholm. A more personal boating experience where guests are treated like friends. We wanted our ride to be in a 100% electric & quiet boat, not messing with the planet, just to see the sights and enjoy the feeling of the city. Instead of funky old headphones we wanted an actual live guide trained at some of Stockholms most prestigious acting schools. Sightseeing Ride is the modern boat company that offers you both a personalized and environmentally friendly sightseeing tour on the waters of Stockholm. With us, you are important. And so is the environment. That's why all our boats run on electricity. That's why we design our tours not only to give you the necessary basic facts about Stockholm but also to tell you about things happening in the city right now on the day you travel with us.
Our multilingual, experienced guides rewrite their scripts every morning. As an example, if the National Museum opens a new exhibition on the day you choose to travel with us, you can be sure to learn something about it when our electric boat passes by the beautiful 18th-century building. Is something new happening at the amusement park Gröna Lund or at the Vasa Museum? Your Sightseeing Ride guide will let you know during your journey. Have any groundbreaking decisions been made in the Swedish parliament? Then our updated guides will announce it as our electric boat glides past the parliament building. Now we also have to boast that we are not only the only sightseeing company with electric boats, we can also take you under bridges that other boats are too big, high, or cumbersome to navigate. When you choose Sightseeing Ride, you will get a personally tailored journey. Scalability is nothing to us. Each of our boats accommodates 34 passengers. There are, of course, blankets and cushions, drinks and snacks to purchase if you wish (you can also bring your own picnic if you prefer). But never more than 34 passengers. We are keen for you to feel that a journey with Sightseeing Ride is made for you. You should be able to ask the guide if there is anything you wonder about. And get an answer. Something that is rarely possible with the big sightseeing companies. There, the guide may even consist of a mechanically recorded voice that of course can never answer any questions like the guides at Sightseeing Ride, always can.

No, we only need to scan the QR code you’ve been provided with on your phone or receipt.
No, unfortunately not. We have a free cancellation policy 24 hrs before departure, after that, please come on time. You can always come by and get on another tour if there is space available though.
